Master Gardeners at Paxton Carnegie Library

The public is invited to enjoy a new gardening program at the Paxton Carnegie Library this spring.  Beginning May 14, area Master Gardeners will bring us an enlightening series for both experienced and beginner gardeners.   Mary Dickenson will present the first program, Annuals and Perennials, from 1 to 2pm on May 14th.  Everyone is welcome, and there is no charge to attend.  Next on June 4: “Container Gardens.”  This will be a hands-on workshop.  There is a $15 fee for materials, and participants will be able to take home their new creations.  On June 17, Cynthia Swanson will present the “Adaptive Gardening” program.   If there is sufficient interest in the series, another workshop may be added in August.  This series is a unique opportunity to learn from Master Gardeners.  Participants may attend one, two, or all three of the programs from 1 to 2pm on May 14, June 4, and June 17.  Please register by calling the Paxton Carnegie Library at 217-379-3431.
